JIS Ashdown flat fronted polished stainless steel heated towel rail with a polished finish. Made from 100% stainless steel, and finished by hand, Sussex heated towel rails are designed to last a lifetime.
Each JIS rail is manufactured with standard 1/2” BSP tappings and is pressure tested to 12 Bar. JIS rails are suitable for all plumbing systems including open systems. BTU/Watt figures are based on T=60K.
The Ashdown towel rail is supplied with standard brackets with an overall projection of 117mm, short brackets are available with an overall projection of 92mm at no extra charge, adjustable brackets are also available with an overall projection of 92 – 117mm, these are ideal for applications such as half tiled walls.

25 year guarantee against manufacturing defects on all towel rails, proof of purchase is required for an exchange unit. Guarantee extends to replacing or repair of the unit only, it does not include delivery and installation costs. The guarantee does not extend to units used on hot water systems were a salt based softener is present. Electric elements are guaranteed for one year.
Valves are guaranteed for 5 years.
DUAL FUEL KITS
These allow you to heat your central heated rail electrically when heating is switched off. Dual fuel kits comprise of an electric element and chrome plated T piece which allows an element and central heating valve to be connected to the same side of towel rail.

Standard Element
The unique JIS stainless steel elements used in all our electric rails are IP55 rated and designed to be minimal in appearance. The JIS element is thermostatically regulated to ensure constant performance & to save on running costs..
Cylindrical Adjustable
The cylindrical adjustable element is IP55 rated and is constructed from 100% stainless steel. Designed to be minimal in appearance, the cylindrical option has four different heat settings with discreet built in LEDs indicating the current heat setting.
As standard all elements are fitted on the right hand side of the towel rail (Left hand elements are available on request).
